The Austral Hotel

The Austral Hotel - Amazing Adelaide

In Adelaide for over a hundred years, the Austral remains a favored stop for Australians.

This elegant building was founded in 1872 on Rundle Street, and by the 1900s it had been the Rundle Street landmark that locals and visitors alike were drawn to. The pub was a favorite among Adelaide locals from 1898 to present, when it was recently renovated to include a new restaurant, front bar, dining room, and upstairs and balcony. Not even the redesign has ever harmed the pub’s world-class reputation , for the way the style reflects Rundle Street’s historical architecture in the same way that it did in the past. There was also more room for local musicians to perform in the parlor, which was previously a common sight in the 1980s and ’90s.

The addition of more choices brings with it a selection of satisfying pub fare, especially the Austral burger, a juicy medium-rare beef patty well-set with lettuce, tomato, cheese, and a tiny pickle. The chicken parmigiana is equally as minty, with a bunch of delightful sauce and mozzarella cheese.

There are numerous different beer choices, liquor, and wine in addition to the Coopers beer, which is quite popular. On warm days, the benches outside are often occupied by a lot of people. The busyness doesn’t come at a trivia night on Wednesday evening. People can swim with the sharks during their game at the bar on occasion.
